NY To Evaluate Wind Power's Impact On Wildlife

Law360, New York (February 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- New York state has issued guidelines for evaluating the impact of commercial wind energy projects on bats and birds as it looks to beef up its renewable energy production over the next few years.

The guidelines, announced Friday by the state Department of Environmental Conservation, provide tracks for both pre- and post-construction studies.
