75% Of AmLaw Firms Have LGBT Protections: Report

Law360, New York (February 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Law firms are leading the charge when it comes to expanding protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender workers, according to a report released Thursday by The Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

Currently, 85 percent of Fortune 500 companies have nondiscrimination policies in place that include sexual orientation, while 75 percent of AmLaw 200 firms have such policies in place, the report said.
