Huntsman, Reinsurers To Arbitrate $93M Fire Claim

Law360, New York (February 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has agreed to dismiss part of a dispute among Huntsman Corp., its captive insurer and the more than a dozen reinsurers on the hook for 100 percent of any loss following an agreement by the parties to arbitrate the spat over $93 million in unpaid claims for a fire at one of the chemical maker's Texas plants.
