Law360, New York (February 24, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Two chemical companies that had opted out of a $55.3 million settlement with Bayer AG over an alleged price-fixing conspiracy in the urethane market can now join the settlement class, a federal judge has ruled.
On Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, Judge John Lungstrum granted the motion of Urethane Contractors Supply Company Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Specialty Products Inc. to withdraw their requests to be excluded from the Bayer Settlement Class.
