Logger Overtime Suit Certified As Collective Action

Law360, New York (February 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A suit brought by a logger who says he routinely worked from about 5 a.m. until after 6 p.m. without being paid a premium rate for overtime hours has won collective action certification, and an attorney for the logger says he predicts more logging-industry overtime suits in the next year.
