EU Unveils State Aid Guidelines For National Courts

Law360, New York (February 25, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Union has released guidelines for member states on applying EU state aid rules, hoping to help claimants recover illegal aid from beneficiaries through national courts.

The guidelines, unveiled Wednesday, also explain how national courts can ask the European Commission for information or opinions when evaluating state aid disputes.
