AntiCancer Takes New Shot At Rival Over Patents

Law360, New York (February 25, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- AntiCancer Inc. has launched its second effort to convince a federal court that rival Cambridge Research & Instrumentation Inc. infringed three of its patents covering technology that uses fluorescent proteins to track cancer growth and study the effectiveness of tumor treatments.

The complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, echoes infringement claims against CRI over three of the five patents San Diego-based AntiCancer asserted in a 2007 suit.
