Obama Taps UVA Law Professor For No. 2 EPA Post

Law360, New York (February 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Obama administration has selected Jonathan Z. Cannon, a professor at the University of Virginia School of Law, to serve as deputy administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

“I will dearly miss the contact with students and my colleagues at the law school,” Cannon said in a statement. “But this is a moment in history for the environment, as well as for the country more broadly, and I am excited by the chance to be a part of it.”
