EPA Honcho Returns to Kirkland & Ellis

Law360, New York (February 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Kirkland & Ellis LLP has lured Granta “Grant” Nakayama, former assistant administrator for the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, back to its Washington, D.C., office as a partner.

Nakayama originally joined Kirkland & Ellis in 1994 and left the firm in 2005 when he was appointed to his post at the EPA by President Bush. Having completed his government service, Nakayama has rejoined the firm's environmental and energy practice.
