Door Remains Slightly Ajar For Monsanto Defendants

Law360, New York (March 4, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has rejected the Scruggs family's bid to reconsider the summary judgment he issued in favor of Monsanto Co. over the unauthorized use of its patented Roundup Ready seeds, but the defendants will have the chance to appeal that denial in light of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision involving patent exhaustion.
