UBS Must Turn Over Madoff Docs: Luxembourg Court

Law360, New York (March 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A Luxembourg court on Thursday ordered UBS AG to release documents that could shed light on one of the Swiss banking giant's subsidiary's dealings with disgraced financier Bernard L. Madoff and his investment fund, Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.

UBS will have to hand over contracts agreed to by its Luxalpha SICAV fund and Madoff's operation, as well as Ernst & Young's annual auditors report outlining Luxalpha's operations following a decision by the Luxembourg Tribunal d'Arrondissement.
