WilmerHale Partner, DOJ Attorney Join SEC

Law360, New York (March 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A WilmerHale LLP securities partner and an appellate attorney from the U.S. Department of Justice are the two newest additions to the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The SEC announced Friday that Mark D. Cahn, a partner from WilmerHale's Washington, D.C., office, has been named deputy general counsel for litigation and adjudication. Jeffrey P. Singdahlsen has left the justice department to become associate general counsel for legal policy.
