Google, Klausner Settle Visual Voice Mail Patent Suit

Law360, New York (March 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Google has become the fourth of nine telecommunications companies to settle with Klausner Technologies in an ongoing patent infringement suit over visual voice-messaging technology.

Launched in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the complaint alleged that Google Inc. and GrandCentral Communications Inc., along with a host of other telecommunications companies, had infringed two of Klausner's patents covering visual voicemail.

Financial terms of the agreement were not made public.
