House Passes Water Quality Bill

Law360, New York (March 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a water quality bill aimed at amending the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to secure $13.8 billion in funding to build new wastewater treatment plants.

H.R. 1262, known as the Water Quality Investment Act of 2009, passed in a 317-101 congressional vote on Thursday.
