Progress Energy Adds 12 Cos. To CERCLA Suit

Law360, New York (March 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Almost a dozen companies have been added as defendants in a lawsuit filed last month by Progress Energy Carolinas Inc. against the city of Jacksonville, Fla., and Koch Industries Inc. that seeks contributions to the cleanup costs of a contaminated former electrical transformer manufacturing operation in North Carolina.
