Law360, New York (March 20, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- BackWeb Technologies Ltd. has targeted Microsoft Corp. with a suit that claims the software giant's online software update technology infringes four BackWeb patents.
The lawsuit, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges that Microsoft’s Background Intelligent Transfer Service, Windows Update and other products infringe the BackWeb patents and that the infringement is willful.
