Energy For Taking Advantage Of ARRA

Law360, New York (March 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The alternate energy industry was a heralded beneficiary of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 signed into law on Feb. 17, 2009.

Tax benefits for alternate energy projects were extended and redefined in the areas of production credits, investment credits, grants and renewable energy bonds.

Federal agencies have already announced plans for allocating Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds for pursuit of alternate energy projects, training of laborers for the energy field and enhancing conservation of energy.
