Ireland Warns Of Need For Political Breakthrough On E.U. Patent

Law360, New York (February 10, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Ireland’s Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment has warned that the European patent may never be realized, unless there is a breakthrough during the Irish Presidency of the European Union.

The Irish Presidency will focus on resolving the Community Patent deadlock, Mary Harney said at a press conference in Berlin.
