Anti-Nuke Group Seeks To Shut Down Bioweapons Lab

Law360, New York (March 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An anti-nuclear activist group is seeking to halt work at a biotoxin research facility located at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, alleging that the government has not prepared adequate analyses of the facility's environmental impact.

Tri-Valley Cares — Communities Against a Radioactive Environment — based in the lab's town of Livermore, Calif., filed an amended complaint in the suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District to California.
