E-Pass Accuses Former Counsel Of Negligence

Law360, New York (March 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Slapped with millions in fees over failed patent infringement actions, E-Pass Technologies Inc. has accused its former counsel Moses & Singer LLP and Squire Sanders & Dempsey LLP of pursuing largely unjustifiable litigation.

The technology company has accused the firms of negligent misrepresentation and seeks to recover millions of dollars they netted in fees during several years of ill-advised and ultimately pointless litigation over E-Pass’ smart card technology.
