Couple Sue Lehman To Get Back $1.5M In Collateral

Law360, New York (March 25, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two investors sued Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. on Tuesday in an effort to recover about $1.5 million in bonds and cash from the bankrupt investment giant.

The complaint, brought by a New Jersey couple, adds to the massive tangle of litigation surrounding the largest bankruptcy in U.S. history in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs delivered AAA-rated municipal bonds with a market value of more than $607,000 and more than $900,000 in cash as collateral...
