Blank Rome Doesn't Owe Recruiter Merger Fee: Court

Law360, New York (March 25, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A New York appeals court has rejected a legal recruiter's attempt to collect over $700,000 for allegedly helping to engineer a merger between Blank Rome LLP and another firm, ruling that the recruiter did not have an enforceable contract with Blank Rome that would entitle the company to the funds.
