Air Cargo Litigation Leads To Feeding Frenzy For Firms

Law360, New York (August 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- With the entire airline industry entangled in a global probe into alleged price-fixing, some of the world's largest law firms have snapped up lucrative representations.

The probe, launched in February, has expanded to include all major airlines, including American Airlines, British Airways, Scandinavian Airlines, United Airlines and Virgin Atlantic, among others.

These carriers have looked to major law firms for representation in the slew of class action suits that followed the probe by regulators.
