4th Circ. Upholds Md.’s Funeral Home Law

Law360, New York (March 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a setback for a suit claiming Maryland’s restrictions on funeral home ownership are anti-competitive, a federal appeals court has found the limitations serve a key purpose of safeguarding the public and do not unjustifiably burden interstate commerce.
