Employment Law Firm Gets To Play Defendant

Law360, New York (August 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former paralegal at Bell, Leeper & Roper P.A. is suing her old law firm, which specializes in employment law and personal injury, for, among other things, overtime compensation.

According to a complaint filed Monday with the U.S. District Court in Orlando, Fla., Lori Low and other similarly situated employees did not receive time and a half for the hours they worked over 40.
