Motorola, Command Audio Settle DVR Patent Spat

Law360, New York (April 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Motorola Inc. has reached a settlement with patent-holding company Command Audio Corp. in a dispute over digital video recorder patents, with Motorola agreeing to license Command Audio's technology.

Judge Maxine Chesney of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday signed off on a joint stipulation of dismissal filed by the two companies stating that they had settled.
