Jury Convicts Fen-Phen Lawyers In Fraud Case

Law360, New York (April 03, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal jury in Frankfort, Ky., convicted two attorneys on Friday who stood accused of pocketing millions of dollars intended for plaintiffs in a class action settlement over the Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Inc. diet drug known as fen-phen.

William Gallion and Shirley A. Cunningham Jr. were found guilty in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky on all nine felony counts, including eight for wire fraud and one for conspiracy.
