Western Fisheries Seek Dismissal Of Groundfish Suit

Law360, New York (April 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of West Coast fisheries is seeking to intervene in a long-standing dispute between the Natural Resources Defense Council and the U.S. Department of Commerce, claiming that the environmental group's attempts to outline greater protections for seven threatened species of groundfish could devastate local fisheries.
