Napster, Pandora Prevail Over Music System Patents

Law360, New York (April 08, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has tossed out allegations that Napster LLC and Pandora Media Inc. infringe two patents held by media technology company Moaec Inc., ruling that the defendants’ popular Internet music services only vaguely resemble the patented device and are not covered by the asserted claims.
