WaMu Hires Consultant To Perform IP Valuation

Law360, New York (April 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Washington Mutual Inc. has won court permission to hire a consulting firm that will perform a professional valuation of the bankrupt bank's intellectual property assets.

Judge Mary K. Walrath of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Tuesday approved WaMu's motion to retain Consor Intellectual Asset Management, saying the move appeared to be in the best interests of the debtor's estate and its creditors.
