Sweden Holds Torrent Site Liable In Copyright Verdict

Law360, New York (April 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district court in Sweden on Friday slapped four administrators of the Pirate Bay, one of the world's largest bit torrent-tracking Web sites, with a $3.6 million fine and sentenced each to a year in prison after finding all four guilty of accessory to copyright infringement.
