Biomet Targeted In DOJ's Bone Growth Device Probe

Law360, New York (April 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Biomet Inc. has revealed that it received a subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice in connection with the company's osteogenesis and bone growth stimulation devices, just days after fellow medical device maker Smith & Nephew PLC made a similar announcement amid an ongoing probe into the sales and marketing of such products.
