Texas Senate Adopts Solar Energy Incentive Bill

Law360, New York (April 22, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Senate of Texas has adopted a bill that would encourage state residents and businesses to use solar energy by providing new incentives and raising $500 million to subsidize solar energy over the next five years.

Senate Bill 545, which was authored by Sen. Troy Fraser, R-Horseshoe Bay, will now go to the state's House of Representatives.
