Mich. May Lose Out If Ch. 11 Is In Detroit's Future

But absent any clear signals from Detroit's struggling firms, legal experts question whether Michigan would be a car company's first pick.

Big ticket bankruptcies have tended to gravitate toward Delaware or Manhattan bankruptcy courts, and a high-profile Chapter 11 of a U.S. automaker may well follow suit, experts said.
