Merrill Broker Accused Of Discrimination Fires Back

Law360, New York (September 8, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After being accused of engaging in sexual discrimination, a former Merrill Lynch & Co. broker has fired back by slapping his accuser and her lawyer with a suit of his own for allegedly costing him his job.

On Friday, Blas Catalani fired back at Hydie Sumner in a Texas district court, charging his former colleague and her attorney, Linda Friedman, with committing actions that led to a wrongful termination.
