Chadbourne Associates, Staffers Face Salary Cuts

Law360, New York (April 23, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A month after laying off 25 counsel and associates, Chadbourne & Parke LLP said it plans to make cuts to the salaries of associates and others in an attempt to avoid any further reductions to its work force.

As of May, the firm will reduce base salaries of attorneys, administrative personnel and other staff in its U.S. offices for the rest of the year, a firm spokesman said Thursday.
