Pronova Targets Teva Over Lovaza ANDA

Law360, New York (April 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Norwegian pharmaceutical company Pronova BioPharma Norge AS has hit Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. with a patent infringement suit over triglyceride-lowering drug Lovaza.

Pronova filed the suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware over two patents used in the formulation of Lovaza, which is used to treats high levels of triglycerides, a type of fat found in the bloodstream.
