DOJ Targets Immucor In Reagents Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (April 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Immunological diagnostic medical product maker Immucor Inc. has received a subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice regarding an antitrust investigation, the company revealed Friday.

The DOJ's antitrust division requested documents spanning from Sept. 1, 2000, to the present, according to the Georgia-based company. The subpoena relates to an investigation of possible violations of federal antitrust law in the blood reagents industry, Immucor said.
