Boutique Market Share Continues To Slide: Survey

Law360, New York (September 11, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Intellectual property boutiques are fighting a losing battle to preserve their turf, with large general-practice firms gaining an increasingly stronger foothold in markets once controlled by specialty firms.

In the past year, the trend has accelerated to a degree that is likely to cause alarm among many boutiques, our survey of U.S. federal court dockets shows.
