Obama Taps 2 Labor Veterans For NLRB

Law360, New York (April 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- President Obama has nominated two longtime labor lawyers to the National Labor Relations Board, the White House announced Friday.

Craig Becker, who currently serves as associate general counsel to the Service Employees International Union and the American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations, and Mark Pearce, a founding partner of Creighton Pearce Johnsen & Giroux, were nominated to fill two of the five-member board's three empty seats, the White House said Friday.
