Chrysler Ch. 11 A Boon To Attorneys

Law360, New York (April 30, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Hours after it was filed, Chrysler LLC's Chapter 11 petition is already proving to be a boon to bankruptcy attorneys, many of whom have appeared in New York bankruptcy court to represent Chrysler's creditors and other interested parties.

Jones Day, which has been representing Chrysler since late last year, on Thursday revealed the team that will be handling the case. Led by bankruptcy attorney Corinne Ball, the team includes 30 attorneys from the firm's business restructuring, litigation, lending, mergers and acquisitions, employee benefits and tax groups....
