TriZetto Hands Over $15M To End Patent Litigation

Law360, New York (September 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- TriZetto Group Inc. announced Tuesday that it will pay $15 million to settle a lawsuit brought against it by health care software maker rival McKesson Information Solutions LLC.

In the case, first filed in September 2004 in the U.S. District Court in Wilmington, Del., McKesson alleged that the clinical editing functionality in TriZetto’s Facets, OicLink and ClaimFacts software infringed one of its patents.
