Jury Finds Elan Did Not Infringe Avago Mouse Patent

Law360, New York (May 05, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Elan Microelectronics Corp. has won a verdict of noninfringement in a patent lawsuit filed by Avago Technologies over optical mouse sensor technology.

The jury issued the verdict in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Monday, ending more than five years of litigation over Avago’s “Seeing Eye Mouse.”
