By Kaitlin Ugolik (June 30, 2014, 4:29 PM EDT) -- The sales process for 1.5 million square feet of development rights near Manhattan's Penn Station has reportedly begun, with Massey Knakal Realty Services taking the reins as broker. The board of the state's Economic Development Corp. voted Friday to award the contract for the sale, according to Crain's. The proceeds are expected to reach up to $500 million and would go toward turning the nearby Farley Post Office into a new transportation hub known as Moynihan Station. The selection of a broker comes almost a decade after Vornado Realty Trust and The Related Cos. LP agreed to redevelop the post office and use associated air rights to build a nearby tower, a plan that has reportedly not seen any traction....
