Real Estate Rumor Mill: SL Green, Tishman, GIC

By Andrew McIntyre (June 10, 2015, 6:52 PM EDT) -- Real estate investment trust SL Green Realty Corp. is planning to sell $1.1 billion or more worth of properties to fund its purchase of 11 Madison Ave. in New York, The Real Deal reported, citing filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. SL Green is under contract to purchase the 2.3 million-square-foot  tower on Madison Avenue from the Sapir Organization and CIM Group for $2.6 billion, and expects to close on that acquisition in the third quarter, The Real Deal said....
