Real Estate Rumors: Walton Street Capital, McLain, ASB

By Andrew McIntyre (June 12, 2017, 2:44 PM EDT) -- Walton Street Capital has called off a deal to sell its 49 percent stake in a Park Avenue tower in New York and instead has, alongside joint venture partner RXR Realty, scored an $850 million refinance of the property, The Real Deal reported on Sunday, citing sources with knowledge of the matter. The venture received the mortgage for 237 Park Ave. from Morgan Stanley and Societe Generale, The Real Deal said. RXR and Walton bought the 1.25 million-square-foot, 21-story tower in 2013 for $810 million, according to the report....
