DataTern Settles Remaining Claims In Database Suit

Law360, New York (July 17, 2009, 5:33 PM ET) -- Texas-based DataTern Inc. has resolved claims against Wachovia Corp. and Delta Air Lines Inc. — the remaining defendants in its suit that accused a wide array of businesses of infringing its database patent.

DataTern reached separate agreements with Wachovia and Delta on Thursday and asked the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas for an order dismissing all claims with prejudice and all counterclaims as moot.
