Lehman's UK Administrator Prepares $100B Claim

Law360, New York (August 31, 2009, 5:38 PM ET) -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the U.K. administrator for bankrupt Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., is reportedly preparing a nearly $100 billion claim against the collapsed investment bank.

Lehman's U.K. administrator is still finalizing the claim but plans to file it in the next few weeks, international accounting firm PwC told the U.K. newspaper The Sunday Times, in a report published Sunday. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York has set a Sept. 22 deadline for creditors' claims.
