Law360, New York (February 02, 2010, 6:39 PM ET) -- The former chief legal officer for Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.'s New York office has joined American International Group Inc. as its new general counsel, and has said he looks forward to helping AIG repay the money it still owes U.S. taxpayers.
AIG announced a slew of new executive posts Tuesday, including Thomas Russo as its new GC, amid increasing Congressional scrutiny over the transparency of the billions of dollars in taxpayer support it received in 2008.
