High Court Rejects Argentine Attachment Appeal

Law360, New York (March 01, 2010, 5:58 PM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected an appeal by a hedge fund seeking to collect on $200 million in bonds issued by the Republic of Argentina, upholding an appeals court's decision that money the Argentine government had been attempting to transfer out of the United States was immune from attachment.
